  • Introduction

    The ocean has a volume of 1.4 billion cubic kilometers, covering 71% of the earth with extremely abundant biological and mineral resources. However, majority of the ocean can’t be directly reached due to the harsh marine environment. Artificial Nanosensory system must be used in many exploration and exploitation of marine resources. Nowadays, lots of efforts have been made to develop new technology for navigation system of underwater vehicle with the increasingly improved requirements of precise positioning, obstacles-avoidance, energy-saving in locomotion and stabilization in response to turbulent currents.

    In this Special Issue on Nanosensory system, we would like to strengthen this very specific field of applications. When exploring the shallow sea bed, accessing the marine ecosystems, and carrying out oceanographic investigations, a lot of tasks can only be accomplished by underwater robots. Moreover, there is a growing market for Nanosensory system, since manned missions are very expensive.

    The main focus of this special issue is on the most recent theoretical developments, results, and applications in the area of methods for Nanosensory system. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Guidelines for Submission

    Manuscripts can be submitted until the expiry of the deadline. Submissions must be previously unpublished and may not be under consideration elsewhere.

    Papers should be formatted according to the guidelines for authors (see: http://www.acisjournal.org/submission). By submitting your manuscripts to the special issue, you are acknowledging that you accept the rules established for publication of manuscripts, including agreement to pay the Article Processing Charges for the manuscripts. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the online manuscript submission system at http://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/login. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal and will be listed together on the special issue website.
